Owens Community College is excited to support labor demands across the region by providing highly-skilled healthcare professionals with a new nursing and health professions education center. 的 north end of the center will be completed for classes to begin in Fall 2024 and the entire center will open for classes in Spring 2025.
31美元.3 million Healthcare Education Center will be located on the east side of the 托莱多该地校园 in the buildings formerly known as the 图书馆 and Audio/Visual Classroom Center. Featuring more than 86,500 of square footage, the center will provide students with state-of-the-art simulation areas to practice interprofessional education and training as they pursue rewarding careers serving the public in healthcare.
的 center will continue to fulfill Owens’ approach of interprofessional education (IPE), where healthcare graduates are well-trained to practice collaboratively and provide patient-centered care.

Owens offers 22 degrees and certificates across 11 healthcare disciplines, and averages 414 graduates*, 包括230名护士, 每年.
A majority of these graduates find employment before graduating with Promedica, 仁慈的健康, Blanchard Valley Health or other area providers. 的y are highly-skilled professionals dedicated to patient-centered care in the northwest Ohio community.

Phased Opening/Grand Opening Ceremony
